A female pastor recently preached that Sodom and Gomorrah had nothing to do with sexual sin and argued that Christians have weaponized Scripture against LGBTQ people by failing to study the Bible properly.

But when you actually open the Bible, the argument falls apart.

In this episode of Unshakable With April Chapman, April walks through the clip point by point and exposes the bad exegesis, emotional manipulation, and faulty hermeneutic behind this progressive interpretation of Genesis 19.

Yes, Scripture has been misused.
Yes, Christians must reject cruelty and hypocrisy.
But no, the church does not get to redefine sin in the name of love.

We look at Genesis 19, Ezekiel 16:49–50, Jude 7, Romans 1, Matthew 19, and 1 Corinthians 6 to answer the real question:

Does biblical love affirm sin, or does it call sinners to repentance and transformation?

This is not about hatred.
This is about truth.
And truth still matters.

Today on Unshakable with April Chapman, we are reacting to attorney Dennis Sperling’s commentary on the Karmelo Anthony / Austin Metcalf case — and y’all, he said what needed to be said. This episode is not about being “pro-black.” It is about being pro-truth, pro-facts, pro-law, and pro-righteousness. Somewhere along the way, too many people confused defending black children with lying to black children. That is not love. That is not justice. That is not biblical. That is how a community helps lead young people straight into destruction and then blames everybody but the person who made the deadly decision.

We are breaking down the difference between ordinary force and deadly force, why the self-defense argument failed, and how racial idolatry has blinded too many people from seeing the obvious.

Scripture reminds us: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” — Jeremiah 17:9, ESV.

Feelings are not facts. Skin color is not righteousness. And defending wickedness because the person looks like you is not love — it is ethnic idolatry.
