The investigation into the tragic death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells is still developing. There are conflicting accounts, unanswered questions, and legitimate reasons for his family to demand a thorough investigation and an independent autopsy.

But before the evidence has been fully established, attorney Ben Crump and New Birth pastor Jamal Bryant are already presenting the case through the familiar lens of racial injustice.

In this episode of Unshakable with April Chapman, I examine Crump’s appearance at New Birth, the disputed claims surrounding Nolan’s cellphone and the video from Horn Island, and the machinery that activates whenever activists believe a tragedy can become the next national racial cause.

I also explain what I call the “iron triangle”: the partnership between the race activist, the political preacher, and the Democratic establishment. Together, they use emotional rhetoric, selective outrage, and racial grievance to maintain influence over the Black community.

Let me be clear: Nolan Wells deserves justice. His family deserves answers. But justice requires evidence—not assumptions, manipulation, political theater, or racial propaganda.
