Al Sharpton called America back to Washington for a new “March on Washington” — and after more than 90 organizations, major Democratic politicians, national civil-rights groups, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Hakeem Jeffries and members of the King family joined the effort, the turnout told a story of its own.

Weeks ago, I warned that the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells was being transformed from an unresolved tragedy into a political weapon. I said the racial-grievance industry would eventually connect Nolan's name to Democratic voter mobilization.

Then Ben Crump walked onto the stage at the Lincoln Memorial and told the crowd:

“We have to vote for Nolan.”
