I recently joined Pastor John Amanchukwu on Disturbing the Peace, and trust me—we disturbed a little peace. In this excerpt, we confront what happens when female solidarity becomes more important than truth, accountability and protecting the innocent.

We begin with the women publicly rallying behind Lindsay Clancy as she stands trial for the deaths of her three children. I understand the pressures of motherhood. I understand trying to balance babies, work, nursing, marriage, exhaustion and postpartum struggles. I've lived some of it.

But compassion cannot become an excuse for refusing to call evil what it is.
