When Democrats create a political disaster, their friends in the media are never far behind with a fresh collection of excuses.

During my latest appearance on Newsmax’s “Media Madness,” we discussed CNN’s attempt to minimize a New Jersey voter-roll controversy, Hunter Biden’s vulgar attack against Jake Tapper and Joy Reid’s claim that Jewish Americans are perfectly safe despite growing concerns about antisemitism across the country.

My problem with Joy Reid’s remarks goes beyond one bad opinion. This is a credibility crisis.

Left-wing media figures repeatedly change their description of reality to accommodate whatever political narrative they need at the moment. America is supposedly a fascist and systemically oppressive nightmare—until acknowledging the danger facing Jewish Americans would undermine another favored narrative.

Joy, pick a struggle.

And perhaps we should take a moment to appreciate a country where someone can criticize America for a living, perform terribly at it and still become a millionaire.
