In this episode of Unshakable with April Chapman, we are talking about another outrageous example of what happens when the church ignores biblical order and calls rebellion “anointing.” A female pastor stood in the pulpit threatening to fight, speaking in what sounded like performative fake tongues, airing out marital drama, making inappropriate sexual comments, and calling it “worship.” No ma’am. That is not worship. That is carnality with a microphone.

This episode is not about whether women are talented, gifted, smart, or capable. This is about whether we are going to submit to the Word of God or keep pretending that Scripture is optional when somebody has personality, charisma, and a conference flyer.

The Bible is clear: the office of pastor/elder/overseer belongs to qualified men. Not every man is qualified, either. But no woman is authorized to teach or exercise authority over men in the gathered church. That is not April’s opinion. That is the apostolic instruction of Scripture.

1 Timothy 2:12 says, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.”

1 Timothy 3 says an overseer must be self-controlled, respectable, gentle, and not violent. So when the pulpit starts sounding like a parking lot threat, we are not witnessing revival. We are witnessing disorder.

The church does not need more “anointed Brooklyn chicks” threatening to throw hands. The church needs repentance, order, qualified male leadership, and women who model Titus 2 maturity instead of ratchet pulpit rebellion.
