Today we’re talking about the viral Carnival Cruise brawl that broke out after passengers disembarked in Miami. And listen, this is bigger than Carnival. This is bigger than a vacation gone wrong. This is about self-control, public shame, accountability, and why we have to stop confusing loyalty with enabling.
A cruise terminal should not turn into a fight club. Families, children, elderly people, and regular passengers should not have to stand around while grown adults act like one inconvenience is an invitation to throw hands.
At some point, we have to tell the truth: everything is not oppression. Sometimes it is foolishness. Sometimes it is dysfunction. Sometimes people need correction, consequences, and a standard.
Carnival reportedly placed 16 people on its do-not-sell list after the incident, and honestly? Good. Consequences are not cruelty. Consequences are order.
